Bubbling Ponds originally produced trout until 1980 when trout production was moved entirely to Page Springs Hatchery. It also has historically produced sportfish such as channel catfish, bluegill, walleye, and largemouth bass. Starting in the mid 1980's, the hatchery began raising Colorado pikeminnow as well.

8/24/2021 A great place to hike and see wild life! The fish are used to repopulate areas that need it! We really enjoyed learning about the process on the signs. There was also a large Ramada with picnic tables. We saw a few different bird species and heard one loud bull frog! This place is beautiful and great place to walk around.
